The CLSA recently achieved a major data access milestone with the approval of the 100th researcher-led project using CLSA data. The approved projects span the disciplines of biological, clinical, social sciences and population health, and will help us understand how various factors, taken individually and in combination, have an impact in both maintaining health and in the development of disease and disability as people age. The contributions of the researchers leading these projects, who come from some of Canada’s leading academic and research institutions, will help fulfill the CLSA’s vision to enable interdisciplinary, population-based research.
