On November 16^th, 2017, the CLSA Data Collection Site at the Universite de Sherbrooke hosted a public event about managing medications as we age for CLSA participants and guests. Geriatrician Geneviève Ricard and pharmacist Marie-Claude Fortin shared information the physiological changes associated with aging that may leave seniors at higher risk for potential side effects from certain drugs, and introduced the concept of ‘deprescription’ as a medication management solution for some individuals as they age.
