Genetics and Epigenetics Centre (GEC)

The CLSA Genetics and Epigenetics Centre will investigate the impact of epigenetic factors on genes as they age, using biological samples collected from the comprehensive participants enrolled in the study. The CLSA will be the first study world-wide to measure the evolution of epigenetic markers in a large cohort of subjects for whom health-related, social and environmental measures are also obtained.
