Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) Sites

Participants who take part in telephone interviews are contacted by our trained staff who work at four CATI sites across Canada (Vancouver, Winnipeg, Sherbrooke and Halifax). Once every three years, CATI staff are responsible for contacting participants and conducting interviews with their consent to collect data on demographics, health and functional status, chronic disease, health care use, and psychological, social and lifestyle factors. In addition, the CATI sites also collect data on transportation, built environments, labour force participation and economic status of participants.
