CLSA research on health and aging of Veterans

On November 11, the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) honours all those who have served our country and express our gratitude to Veterans for their sacrifices.

It is estimated that in Canada there are approximately 700,000 Canadian Armed Forces Veterans, a key population subgroup that can be difficult to identify once leaving the military. The CLSA dataset provides a unique opportunity to analyze health factors in a sample of self-identified Veterans, allowing for insight into how military service impacts health and aging.
