Public Event: Study Participants Ask, Researchers Respond

On August 28th, 2018, the CLSA Data Collection Site at University of Victoria in partnership with Island Health recently hosted a seminar  for CLSA participants that discussed why specific measures have been included as part of the CLSA, how some of the data are being used, and what we are learning from the study. The event took place at the University of Victoria in Victoria, B.C.

Speakers included:

• Dr. Scott Hofer, Director, Institute on Aging and Lifelong Health, University of Victoria
• Dr. Denise Cloutier, Professor, Department of Geography, University of Victoria
• Dr. Debra Sheets, Associate Professor, School of Nursing, University of Victoria
• Dr. Marilyn Bater, Geriatrician, Island Health
