Catslyst Grant: Methods and Measures for Gender, Sex and Health Research
This catalyst grant opportunity is designed to address the challenge that researchers often rely on the simple binary of male/female thereby failing to capture the heterogeneity of, and interrelationships between, sex and gender. For the feild of gender, sex and health research to advance, it is important for researchers to effectively capture gender and sex in health research. This will require clarifying concepts, refining current approaches, and developing new methods and measures. The registration deadline is September 21, 2009.
